The Patrons

The Rose has a formidable list of theatrical personalities who do a great deal to keep the Rose in the public eye at a most important time in its history. Dame Judi Dench, James Fox, Sir Peter Hall, Janet Suzman, Susannah York and most recently Dominic Dromgoole, Artistic Director of Shakespeare’s Globe.

The all important creative relationship between the Rose and the Globe has been strengthened by Dominic’s involvement as a Patron. Asked to comment he said “The Rose Theatre has made a huge contribution to our understanding of the theatre then, now and for the future.”
