ROMEO AND JULIET by William Shakespeare

-

Shakespeare’s tragic romance comes to the Rose, Bankside. For four hundred years Romeo and Juliet has never lost its popularity or universal appeal. Highly influential across all art forms and a play for all ages- a truly universal play. Shakespeare’s most adapted and internationally successful play has never been been performed at the Rose, regardless of its representation in ‘Shakespeare in Love’.
In 2012 we intend to put the record straight! As Bankside’s oldest theatre we are very pleased to present the play of ‘star crossed lovers’ on our stage for the first time.
All performances at 7.30 pm (Sunday 10th and 24th at  3.00 pm only, no performance on Sunday 17th)
No Monday Performances
